Trades Heroes Garner The Spotlight In “The American Tradesperson”
Capturing the real men and women blazing trails in our trades, Mechanical Hub Media premiered The American Tradesperson, a six-episode docuseries highlighting the people, situations, and innovations shaping our industry.
The YouTube series transports viewers into the field through real-world storytelling. The premiere episode, After the Fires, follows contractors rebuilding communities in Pacific Palisades and Altadena, California, after the devastating January 2025 wildfires, capturing both the technical demands of recovery and the human commitment behind the work. Nexstar member Yossi Wachtel, Owner of Monkey Wrench Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric, as well as Jennifer Johns of Nexstar’s Strategic Partner Elevate, both openly share the impact the wildfires had on themselves, their communities, neighbors, and customers.
Nexstar is proud to partner with Mechanical Hub in support of The American Tradesperson programming along with several industry sponsors. Upcoming episodes will focus on economic pressures, technology and innovation, workforce development, and safety and wellness across the trades.
“The series reflects Nexstar’s commitment to elevating the trades and celebrating the people who power this industry,” said Carrie Fraser, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nexstar Network. “By shining a light on the real stories behind today’s contractors, this The American Tradesperson showcases the dedication, professionalism and entrepreneurial strength that define our members and the industry at large.”
