Monthly Coach Highlight – Zach Klinger, Digital Marketing Coach
- By Elsa Chase, Digital Marketing Specialist
This month, we sat down with Digital Marketing Coach Zach Klinger to learn more about his journey through the trades, what brought him to Nexstar, and what he cares about the most.
Q: Where and when did you get your start in the trades?
A: I started working in the trades as a digital marketing analyst at Northern Tool & Equipment. I would work with people in the trades, as well as companies like Google
and Meta, to get the right equipment to the right tradespeople.
Q: What brought you to Nexstar?
A: The people! The people at Nexstar are passionate about turning the world’s best tradespeople into the world’s best businesspeople. It’s amazing to work for such a great organization with a powerful mission.
Q: What are some of the career milestones that have been important in guiding your role as a coach?
A: One of the greatest milestones in my journey has been obtaining my MBA with a concentration in social media marketing. It was just as much a milestone for me as it was for my family—I couldn’t have done it without them!
Q: What does your typical day look like as a coach?
A: I talk to members every day. In the spirit of M1 (Members First), I’ll adjust my schedule to meet members when they need to help them succeed in digital marketing. I also always make time to learn new things, as AI and digital marketing are always evolving!

Q: What’s the best part of your job, and why?
A: Seeing the growth of our members. It’s a great feeling to see our members turn into the world’s best businesspeople through coaching calls, marketing workshops, and onsites.
Q: What are some of your passions?
A: I love baseball! In the summer, I enjoy umpiring baseball at both college and amateur levels. I have the best seat in the house at every game!
