Bryan Martin and Lisa Schardt, Nexstar’s Dynamic Sales Duo, offer up the following fantastic Thanksgiving recipes:

Lisa’s Harvest Sweet Potatoes

6 sweet potatoes (about 4 cups) cooked, peeled and mashed

1 cup milk

3 eggs slightly beaten

1 cup brown sugar

½ cup butter, melted

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

½ tsp. ground nutmeg

1 tsp. of vanilla

¼ tsp. salt

½ cup chopped pecans

1 cup mini-marshmallows

Combine all ingredients except pecans and marshmallows—mixed thoroughly. Place in buttered two quart casserole. Bake uncovered, 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Top with pecans and marshmallows, and continue baking for 5-10 minutes or until marshmallows melt. Makes 10-12 servings.

Bryan’s Green Bean Casserole

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1can cream of chicken soup

11/4 cups of milk

1/4 tsp black pepper

5 cans of French cut green beans

2 cups cheddar French fried onions

Combine all ingredients (reserve 2/3 cup of fried onions for topping) in mixing bowl and mix well.  Place ingredients in crock pot, cook at 350 degrees or medium high setting for 30 minutes.  Top with remaining fried onions and continue cooking 5 more minutes or until onions are golden.
