Natasha Zamora, Dispatcher, Campbell & Company

How long have you been with your company and in the industry?

Well, I started working with Campbell and Company in 2012. It’s only been within the last two years I’ve started as a dispatcher here.

How did you get started in call centers/customer service?

I stared as a lead generator in sales and realized that wasn’t really a fit for me. I was told that maybe I’d be a better fit as a dispatcher due to my communication skills. So I inquired about a spot here at our company, and here I am.

Where are you from?

Walla Walla, Washington.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy the outdoors and being with friends. So whether we are getting together for dinner parties, hiking or concert-going, it’s always a good time. Also, I do enjoy a good book. I could sit for hours reading.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

My favorite thing about my job is the relationships I’ve come to build with my team and our customers.

How does Nexstar help you do your job?

Nexstar helps reinforce the integrity of the company and creates a family atmosphere more than just a standard job. It helps us to take care of all the customers’ needs, and grow as a family instead of a company.

Natasha was nominated for this feature by her coworker Amanda Bogen, marketing coordinator at Campbell & Company:

“The job is incredibly fast paced and there is little room for error in all the scheduling, dispatching and customer care. Natasha is compassionate and caring, even when our guys are grumpy from dealing with unhappy customers, or exhausted from being out in the heat. Often you will hear her on the phone encouraging a technician, saying ‘Good work!’ or ‘I know it’s hot out, but you got this!’ Just the other day, one of the technicians achieved a small personal accomplishment and Natasha was so excited for him that she started dancing around the office. She is genuinely everyone’s biggest cheerleader.

We all know we can trust her with the dispatch board, and the guys love having her on the other end of the line. It really is a puzzle trying to get it all just right each day, and she is so organized and thorough. It is not uncommon to see her in the office past 7 p.m., working overtime to make sure everything is right. Natasha is a huge asset to our company and we are so thankful for her cheerful personality and hard work ethic.”
