Although we can’t always count on the exact specifics of weather, we can always count on the seasons changing. And the seasons changing will bring slow times with them—this should come as no surprise to those of us in the residential contracting business! And yet, as a business coach I hear owners and managers in this industry making the same complaints about this every year.

There are two main things you can do to mitigate the slow times:

  1. Improve the effectiveness and the productivity of your call center.
  2. Improve the effectiveness of your field producers (technicians, salespeople).
